Hi everyone and welcome to my profile! I am here to help busy individuals master the English or Macedonian language and eventually fulfill their goals. Most of my students are worried that they sound like 4-year-olds when they express themselves in English or Macedonian, even though they have no problems understanding the other person. If this is you, it means you probably have passive knowledge of the language (listening and reading comprehension) and need to improve your speaking and writing skills. This is where we teachers step in to help you overcome the fear of making mistakes. Always bear in mind that making mistakes is the natural way of learning and that practice makes perfect.

我的教學經歷

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Philology and TEFL, and I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in International Business and Foreign Languages. I first became aware of my teaching performance during my teaching practice that my undergraduate program provided. I taught high school students for a whole semester under the supervision of a university professor in Methodology of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Ever since, I have been able to inspire my students to strive for, and achieve excellence. I am patient and able to break down complex words in simple terms. My students say I am able to empathize with them and have appreciation for what they are going through.

Review is a very important part of my lessons and it is an effective strategy to vocabulary building. We will review new items at the end of each lesson, and again in the next lesson. Then, we will come back to them after a week, and again later. I teach vocabulary both within contexts and as single items. I can help you recognize root words, prefixes and suffixes, and make connections between new vocabulary and words that you already know. You will learn that you can't always swap words with the same meaning, because you may end up using a word in a completely wrong way. For example, you 'watch television' and you can either 'watch a film' or 'see a film' - but you don't 'see television'.
