My name is Natalia, and I was born and raised in Buenos Aires. Since 2010 I've been teaching English as a Second Language and in 2014, after I graduated, I started to work as a teacher in several schools in Buenos Aires. Travelling and learning new things are some of my passions; so, in 2017 I decided to spend a summer abroad in New York where I took some language courses and now I am living in Amsterdam in a multicultural neighborhood. During my short career I have taught kids, teenagers and adults in formal and informal contexts. Besides, I have prepared students to sit for national and international exams.

我的教學經歷

In 2011 I signed up at the Teaching Training College, where not only did I learn about languages but also about pedagogy. For this reason, I always design meaningful lessons based on the communicative approach and the four skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening). These lessons are always prepared taking into consideration the interests of the learner and the objectives set to improve any aspect of the language. Besides, I try to create a good and comfortable atmosphere where the learner feels free of making mistakes and they are seen as a way to improve the learning path.

我的課程內容與教學風格

I'm a music lover, so I always recommend songs to my learners or I use them to trigger relevant topics for our lessons. I consider that songs and movies are a great way to learn about any language and its culture. Furthermore, It's super cool to understand what you are singing or watching! In other words, I regard learning as something enjoyable! So that's my motto when planning my lessons! If you would like to improve your communication skills, don't hesitate to contact me! We can share a conversation, learn about grammar, vocabulary, phonology and enjoy the benefits of learning a second language in a positive environment.
