NOTE: If you are interested in my lessons, but you don't find a time that suits you in my schedule, message me and I can change it :) Hello, fellow language learners! My name is Josué. I'm an Engineering student from Guatemala, a country in Central America where Spanish is the official language. I can also speak English and at the moment I learn German, French, Russian, Portuguese, Chinese and ASL. I love languages! Apart from that, I like playing musical instruments and talking to people about different topics, particularly science, linguistics, sports, culture... well, about life :) Many people say my Spanish accent is neutral and I always try to speak as clear as possible :)

我的教學經歷

I've always been fascinated by languages! When I was in school, I provided private and group tutoring to different students in different areas: English, Spanish, Mathematics and Physics. In my university I've also helped some fellow students in different subjects, including English. Besides, 5 years ago I had the chance to take part in a volunteering project that helped foreigners learn Spanish in Antigua Guatemala. Every experience has taught me a lot :) I decided to become a tutor because I think the best way to learn about the world is by teaching other people what you yourself know :)

You decide how my tutoring sessions will be structured. We can practice conversation and discuss the topics that interest you. I firmly believe that any topic can be interesting and that one can always learn something new! I also offer grammar, spelling or phonetic lessons with visual and interactive tools. This includes tailored tests and homework. We could also read or discuss a book, a video or an article. You also decide how often I will correct your mistakes, how detailed my explanations will be and even the speed of my speech. Language learning has to be fun and teachers should always strive for a balance between theory and practice. I'm willing to show you my passion for languages :)

My first lessons with Josué were conversations, then I decided to take his grammar class as well. Worth it, because I can learn the language precisely. I wouldn't be as demanding in my learning if I were alone. Between lessons, he gives tests and homework and explains every mistake. I am convinced that his lessons will allow me to speak correctly more quickly. He is always well prepared and invested! Thank you so much.
