I believe the key to learning is to create a relaxed and fun environment.
My journey as a teacher started in 2013 as an English tutor for primary and secondary school kids, which was amazing. Since 2017 I've been teaching both Russian and English online. I am a certified teacher of Russian as a foreign language.
I have experience in teaching students of all ages and backgrounds, from 4 years old to 50+. I always aim to create a friendly but professional teacher-student relationship as relaxed students are productive students. My lessons are planned specifically for you based on your own individual language needs.

Different students have different requirements and I’m sure I can adapt my class to fit your needs! It’s crucial for me to make friends with my students to overcome the language barrier and feel comfy with each other.
In my lessons, I focus on speaking using the communicative approach. I barely use my student’s native language to have a complete language immersion. Topics I love discussing are travelling, cultures, modern trends, world issues, fav books and films or anything that interests you. I’ll do my best to get you talking as much as I can!

Darya is very patient and adapt to your rhythm and needs. She will switch from reading/writing/understanding/speaking exercises and make it fun and fast to learn. Nice preparation before the lesson and hard work through the class.

I have had a few lessons with Darya now. All of her lessons are well prepared and most importantly fun! She also tailors each one to your needs/wants, and adapted to my ability very quickly. My speaking and listening skills have improved so much already. I would highly recommend her as a teacher!
