I have a wide range of teaching experience, from tribal schools in Thailand and Nepal to elementary schools, kindergarten and an adult language academy in Korea. I like teaching languages because it is always a cultural exchange.
Learning a language should be fun and every lesson is tailor-made according to the needs of the student.
I teach German in an integrated way, grammar, conversation, reading and writing.
I will give you homework and motivate you to learn as well at home.
I have a motto: There is no inapt student, only teachers who do not know how to teach the individual student effectively!

I have a wide range of materials, from ordinary textbooks, PDF files to children's books, teenager literature, newspaper articles, games and videos for different age groups. I adjust my teaching method and speed to my students. Students have different expectations and I try to find out what they are. I usually ask my students for feedback and let them chose the material. I try to have a balanced class, basic grammar, conversation, quiz, games and free talking, reading and writing.
As I have learnt several languages (Russian, English, Latin, Korean, Hindi) myself, I know about difficulties and pitfalls of learning a language.

Very engaging lesson with Alex.He makes sure that the 30 minutes time is spent appropriately making sure to leave many items as homework which he thinks can be done by the girls independently. He has introduced the concept of memory hook in a very funny way and I am sure my girls will never forgot the concept ever in life. When I was looking for a teacher on italki, I was looking for exactly the type of teacher Alex is. Good luck!
