Hi there, My name is Amanda. I'm so glad you are here. I currently live in Dallas, TX. Though I am U.S. citizen I spent my childhood in Kenya, Africa. During university I lived and worked in Hong Kong. My career as a global strategist has allowed me to travel extensively. I enjoy talking about international business and discussing cultures. I enjoy good coffee, good wine, and good food. With over 20 years of experience in the global business world my specialty is Business English. My hope is to work with those who are looking to improve their business english in conversation as well as learn more about the cultural aspects of the business environment.

我的教學經歷

I have worked in the cultural training and development field for the past two decades. I currently work as an international consultant. I have found very talented business professionals who have skills and knowledge of the field often fall behind because they do not have the language skills necessary - not only in their meetings but in the social settings that business often requires. My hope for my students is to help them navigate the business world and help them be as successful as possible.

我的課程內容與教學風格

Please note that my lessons are not for beginners. I only accept students that are already at a conversation level in English. I work with business professionals to help them enhance their English skills in the workplace, learn the nuances of doing business across cultures, and small talk. I also help business professionals prepare for interviews and presentations. I believe that true learning comes through conversation with each other and discussing everyday life scenarios. I do expect students to show up on time and to not cancel lessons except on an emergency basis. I will respectfully do the same.
