I have professional experience teaching languages in schools, as well as teaching lessons online and for my local council. I am trained specifically to teach languages, and I have experience teaching both English and Japanese to learners of varying ages and levels. I particularly like to teach English Literacy and Pronunciation, helping students to build their vocabulary and speak boldly and confidently. I like to have a goal for every lesson so that students can measure their success objectively and progress with confidence. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My teaching style varies greatly depending on the needs of the student, but it is my philosophy that languages are best learnt through authentic interaction and meaningful communication. I like to use real world resources and texts, particularly ones that are of interest to the student, so that students can make connections between language, self and context. I am academic, informative and professional, however I also like to keep things relaxed, lighthearted and enjoyable.我的教材

Jamie is my first online teacher and it was a really good experience having a lesson with him. He helped me better my pronunciation within the first half an hour! Plus, he’s very patient and nice.
