Hello! My name is Melanie and I am a native English speaker from the UK. I have travelled to various parts of the world and I am currently living in Indonesia I enjoy learning new languages to be able to communicate with people all over the world. I have learnt British Sign Language in order to reach out to the deaf in my community and I am currently learning Indonesian. So I understand the challenges people face when learning a new language and I can help you to overcome those.

I have 2 years experience teaching English online to adults and children and I really enjoy it. It's so rewarding when you have a student grow in their confidence and fluency and abilities in the language. I am TEFL certified. As a language learner myself (Indonesian), I know and understand the difficulties people face when learning a new language.

我的課程內容與教學風格

My main focus in teaching is natural conversation. It's so important to talk to a native and understand how we speak and for you to be able to practice with someone who is there to help you to improve. A lot of my students have benefited from discussing news articles or videos together and being able to practice expressing their opinions which can feel so difficult when learning a new language! Also, I have many students who like to practice the speaking part of the IELTS exam with me, I can help you improve and give you tips to elevate your speaking in the exam. If you need help improving your CV or preparing for a job interview, I used to work in recruitment so I can help with that too!

I feel progress every lesson, of course the most important things which we’ve done that I have passed IELTS academic, my result is perfect, I could not imagine that i can do it , but you really motivated me because you believed in me!!! Talking with Melanie is easy and comfortable. You don’t need to thinking about topics. Conversations flow naturally and at the end you’ll be surprised that time flies without notice.
