初めまして、私の名前はヨウコです。日本の兵庫県で生まれ育ち、母国語は日本語です。旅行に行くことが好きでこれまでアジア、北米、ヨーロッパの色々な国に行きました。またこれからもたくさんの国に行きたいと思っています。異なったバックグランドを持った世界中の人とお話しするのが好きです。語学の勉強にも興味があり、私も英語と韓国語を勉強中です。他にもカフェに行ったり、運動をしたり、料理をすることが好きです。 Hi, I’m Yoko. I’m from Kobe Japan and my native language is Japanese. I love traveling both in Japan and also around the world. I’ve been to a couple of countries in Asia, North America, and Europe etc and there are more places to visit in the future! I also studied abroad to the U.S, so I can speak some English. Seeing local people and talking to them is one of my favorite things to do while traveling. I also love going to cafes, working out, doing yoga and cooking.

我的教學經歷

プロの教師経験はありませんが、iTalkiでコミュニティチューターとして日本語を教えています。また、私の周りには日本語を勉強している友達がたくさんいるので、一緒に遊びながら面白い単語やフレーズを教えたりしています。私自身も韓国語を勉強中でモチベーションを保ったり、勉強方法について悩むことがあります。なので私のレッスンではなるべく皆さんが楽しんで日本語を勉強できるようにしたいと思います。 iTalkiを通じてたくさんの国の人と出会い、お話しできることを楽しみにしています。 Although I’m not a professional teacher, I’ve been teaching Japanese a couple of years on italki. I also have a lot of friends who are studying Japanese and I love teaching them phrases they can use in everyday life while we’re hanging out. In my lessons, I’d like my students to enjoy learning Japanese as much as I enjoy teaching them Japanese. I'm looking forward to seeing you from all over the world in our lessons!

我的課程內容與教學風格

私のレッスンは主に会話が中心です。皆さんの興味があることや、他にも色々なことについて話しましょう。また日本語のニュースや記事を一緒に読んだり、日本語での面接の練習もできます。その他レッスン内容の希望があれば遠慮せずに教えてください。皆さんそれぞれのレベルに合わせた楽しいレッスンができるようにしたいと思います。 My lessons are going to be focused on conversation. Please let me know your goal for learning Japanese! Beginner: We can start from simple vocabularies and make basic sentences. Intermediate: It's totally okay to make mistakes in the conversation. Let’s learn new vocabs and make longer sentences. Advanced: Let’s focus on speaking smoothly and also try using new phrases in the conversation. I will write down voabs that you don't know or used in a wrong way during our lessons. Your specific requests for our lesson are always welcomed!

I had a great lesson with Yoko tonight. I feel like I made a lot more mistakes than usual but she was very understanding and patient with me. We talked about winter holidays in Japan and the US as well as going to see the fall leaves. Thanks!

Yoko-san is very friendly, easy going and very fun to talk to. The conversation was natural and the flow/pace was just right for my level. We ended up talking about a lot of different topics and the time went by quick! I also learned a ton of new words & phrases in the process. Overall, it kind of felt like I was talking to an old friend that I haven't seen in a while. Thanks for the lesson!
