From an early age, I have been drawn to words. My interests change with the seasons but my love of reading, writing, and languages remains constant. Je souhaite partager avec vous le bonheur que m'apporte l'apprentissage des langues étrangères. Usted también va a ver cómo, en poco tiempo, se puede aprender un idioma desde cero. You will find me to be a versatile and interested teacher. I believe that anyone can learn languages so I have full confidence that you will reach your goal. While I think that we are responsible for our own learning, I also know that a good teacher can make all the difference at crucial points in the process. I like getting to know my students, adapting what I know about acquisition to each person and seeing their progress. Some of my students have been with me for years, whereas others with a specific objective in mind needed just a few months. Whether you need just one meeting to get on the right track, regular conversations, or an intense 10-20 lessons for motivation, I'm here. 我的課程內容與教學風格

My background in language acquisition, years of university experience, and interest in languages make me a versatile teacher. No two lessons look the same. So far, I have helped:

• Analytical types like me who struggle to accept the inherent ambiguity of language

博士 - FrenchMy specialization is French and I also completed an interdisciplinary specialization in Second Language Acquisiton (SLA), as well as college teacher training & apprenticeships. Please note EDUTL 5620 (Summer 2012), French 8301 (Spring 2013), and French 8302 (Spring 2014) as my SLA courses. French 801 (Autumn 2011) is teacher training, and 2 French 8303 apprenticeships are noted in Autumn 2013 &2014. You can see the titles of the courses on the transcript as well as the grades.

碩士 - FrenchMaster's degree awarded as part of combined M.A. + PhD program that is still ongoing. 其他 - French Cultural Studies InstituteParticipated in biennial invitation-only 2-month workshop for 25 professors and advanced doctoral students in French studies. Attended meetings & lectures on the theme of "La politique et le politique" as well as pedagogy workshops. Created syllabus on voyeurism and voyage in 18th- and 19th-century literature. Fully sponsored by my home department.

Graduate Teaching AssociateI have been teaching as an instructor in the Department of French and Italian since I began my graduate studies at Ohio State University in 2011. I have been the sole, independent instructor of basic language classes as well as intermediate cultural classes in literature, cinema, and culture. I have taught all levels of the introductory French sequence for beginners and I have taught accelerated summer classes for four years, a competitive position, contingent on excellent student evaluations.
