Shalom :) I'm a social linguist (Ph.D.) and can help you ‎with conversational Hebrew. We'll talk about things that ‎you find interesting and "reflect" your native-speaking ‎expertise into Hebrew. As an interlocutor, I'm a friendly ‎person with a wide variety of interests. ‎ I also offer a gradual, systematic, and comprehensive ‎introduction to reading, grammar, communication, and ‎listening comprehension (A1-B2). ‎

✅ Patient and friendly ‎ ✅ Fifteen years of teaching experience, including six years with ‎international exchange students ‎ ✅ Wide variety of topics ranging from shopping, cars, and ‎videogames to relationships, taxes, and geopolitics. We'll always ‎find something interesting to discuss. ‎ ✅ Conversations at your present level of Hebrew. I know the ‎frequency and the conversational importance of practically all ‎Hebrew words between A1 to C2 and can suggest the most useful ‎words and phrases.‎ ✅ Building confidence and learning through experimentation. You ‎are free to experiment with words and grammar, and I'll take notes ‎and send you suggestions with minimal interruption. ‎

Interactive and conversational You are the one who is talking. ‎ Personal and Emotional Importance ‎ We will talk about personally and emotionally ‎important topics. Languages are not acquired in a ‎vacuum. Words and phrases are attached to ‎‎"significance hubs" such as needs, attitudes, and ‎memories.‎ Conversational Transfer ‎ Every person has hundreds of favorite words and ‎phrases that are used repeatedly. If you don't know ‎the equivalents in the language you are learning, you ‎will stumble in a conversation. ‎ Conversational Grammar ‎ Prepositions, pronouns (e.g., ‎לי, שלי, אותי‎), tenses, ‎cases, verb patterns (benianim), and special sentence ‎patterns (like ‎יש ‏‎ /‎אין ‏‎).‎
