I currently teach English to students from Japan and all over the world at a Japanese university. I teach critical thinking skills, reading strategies, the writing process, and presentation skills. In addition, I've taught Japanese City Hall employees and other working adults and international students studying in New York. I also briefly taught K-8 in the U.S. and Japan. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I provide engaging and individualized lessons that cover conversation skills, one-on-one help with assignments, and a balanced focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I always come prepared with a plan, but I am also prepared to adapt it to fit the needs and/or interests of each student.我的教材

-Planned and taught courses to Kawagoe City Hall employees and citizens for the Omotenashi English program, in preparation for the anticipated boost in tourists for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Volunteer Teacher-Created task-based activities for low and high beginner immigrant parents, focusing on English needed to navigate everyday situations in New York City.
-Supervised a teacher trainee from New School University’s TESOL Certificate Program, providing guidance on level-appropriate activities and classroom management.

Instructor-Energized morning and evening classes of up to 150 adult English Language Learners by connecting curriculum topics to the community around them.
-Incorporated writing-focused activities to prepare advanced students for college-level assignments.
2015 - 2019
Senior International Student Advisor-Served as a liaison between local and national government representatives and over 1,000 international students on compliance with immigration policies.
-Vetted documents submitted by students for authenticity and completion for multiple cases, such as changes of status and employment authorizations.

I took her trial class. At first, I was confused about what to talk for 30 mimutes, but she pulls me out so that I can speak well. It was kind of fun. Her pronunciation is clear American English. I realy like her teacing style. Next time I will apply for regular class.
