It was my first lesson with Cynthia. I've taken over 100 lessons through italki and this is one of the few times where I actually felt like I had a professional teacher. She was able to explain grammatical points, give examples, and then test my understanding. She types a lot in the Skype window so that it's easier to understand and easier to review later. There were no problems with the call quality.

I have been working with Cynthia for a few months now. Our lessons have been well focused and tailored to my specific needs and my current knowledge. I couldn't recommend her more, especially for those like me who have a scattered knowledge of spanish. Our lessons are fun and informative focusing on my gaps in knowledge. I have asked to learn porteño spanish to more effectively communicate with my fiances relatives in Buenos Aires and she has been a WONDERFUL help in learning the nuances of that dialect.
