Your time is valuable and teachers can write whatever they want here. Choosing a teacher, the first thing I do is calculate the returning student ratio: Divide the total lessons by the number of students, then subtract 1 (as the 1st lesson isn’t a returning student).
Pronunciation is my favorite “hack” — master it now, before learning thousands of words with bad pronunciation, and your path will be a lot easier. It’s not so much about accent, but we really need to prioritize pronunciation, because your pronunciation is the pronunciation you expect to hear, so if your pronunciation is off, your listening will be 10x more difficult. I had no ideas what Word stress, Connected Words and Rythm were. In past, when I read them in the books, they were like alien code to me. I set the target to get them one day, but this day seemed far away.
