Again, I am very happy that I pay for lessons. Whenever I ask questions about usage of a certain word or phrase, she give me an exact and answer. She tells me how I can change my expressions to make it sound more natural. We have fun talking about various subjects and at the same time I feel like my Vietnamese is improving leaps and bounds with each lesson. There is something to be said about paying for lessons from a professional teacher. I highly suggest to anyone thing about learning Vietnamese to at least take a few professional lessons to start off.

Huyen is an excellent teacher who has really helped me to make a lot of progress in Vietnamese even though I am just a beginner. She is very friendly and easy to talk to and she allows the lesson to move at a pace comfortable for the student. She also has really good materials and resources. In this lesson we used part of the course she designed and I was able to learn a lot. Highly recommended

It was cool, we read some poems to really challenge me linguistically.

Great fun. My teacher is endlessly patient and creative! Today we talked around the topic of sport, describing photographs and learning new vocabulary.
