I have been teaching for over 20 years. I love helping students from other cultures learn to understand English so that it empowers them in the world so I would love to find out why you are here. Are you an independent learner but just want some extra tips and support? Are you a student in class who needs to improve weak areas? Are you returning to study or work? Are you learning for fun? I will support you with whatever language learning goals you currently have in your life. I feel that it is important to discuss and assess your learning needs so book a trial lesson with me first. I teach language in context and focus on the practise of the four macro-skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. I can tune into your language weaknesses including any pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and writing weaknesses. I will help you improve by offering practical activities, engaging resources and learning strategies. I believe that learners learn best through their environment, social interaction and a variety of resources. Grammar is embedded within the lesson, not taught in isolation. My learning style is based on contemporary theories of second language learning, genre theory, linguistics and how learners learn online. Note that I don't teach to tests.我的教材
