After graduating, I have been teaching offline for the past five years. Firstly, I was a tutor for the Italian language certification exams (CELI) at the University of Perugia. As already mentioned, before moving to UK I earned a Bachelor's Degree in "Foreign Languages and Cultures" and a Master's Degree in "Literatures and Intercultural Translation" in English and Spanish languages. While I was studying in Italy I used to teach privately as well to high school kids, to help them improve their English/ Spanish skills.

As a language learner, I know from experience that speaking is necessary to learn quickly and effectively. Most classes fall into the trap of using the same, highly ineffective, traditional teaching methods. Too much lecturing and theory leave students bored and tired. I have found a way to help my students to learn faster, and retain more information easily and quickly. My approach is based on a few fundamentals: listen and repeat, pronunciation, active thinking, spaced repetition. I believe in a flexible approach to language learning.
