As a teacher, I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can learn by doing. Together we will study both grammar and the most common forms of colloquial language, we will pay particular attention to written forms and pronunciation and we will do so by talking about Italian culture in all its facets: from history to art, from music to cinema, from tourist attractions to food, passing through traditions, myths and legends.

I will be a helpful, empathetic and friendly tutor. I have studied languages myself (English, Japanese and Spanish) and I know it can be exciting and difficult at the same time. For this reason, my classes will be relaxed and fun, so you can learn and challenge yourself without any pressure! Mistakes are welcome: remember that making mistakes is the best way to learn a new language!

As a teacher I'm very open-minded and I love to try new methods of teaching. I read a lot about education and I also experiment on myself when I'm learning a language. Whatever I find to be effective, I'll bring into the class. Of course, I also take into account what you like and what your preference is. Per questo motivo voglio aiutare le persone a comunicare bene con i cittadini Italiani, perché in Italia ci sono molti dialetti, ma se sai come parlare bene la lingua, sarai in grado di comunicare con chiunque. Per conoscere il mondo come madrelingua italiana è stato quasi un obbligo imparare lingue straniere. Parlo inglese, spagnolo e discretamente il francese e il tedesco; so cosa significa studiare una lingua in modo accademico e invece ciò che implica impararla direttamente sul campo. Per questo da 5 anni ho deciso di dedicarmi all'insegnamento e trasmettere qualche trucco per apprendere l'essenza dell'italiano velocemente e divertendosi.

I'm a big fan of the Italian language (and culture) and I love to help people learn it. I know it can be tough but with patience and motivation it can be fun. From my personal experience as a learner, I've come to realize that the best way to learn and practice a language is using it for everyday matters, especially to talk about one's passions and hobbies. Talking about the things we like is a positive, stimulating way of practicing; learning becomes quicker, more natural and less tiring. I want my students to feel free to express themselves without being judged, so don't be afraid to speak and make mistakes with me: mistakes are an excellent way to learn!

I started teaching Italian when I wanted to improve my German for work, so when I got paid I used the money to buy new German classes. I found this activity very interesting and fun. It was amazing how many people wanted to learn Italian and learn about Italian culture. Listening to my students improving day after day was really satisfying. I studied a lot of Italian during school, so I know very well what I'm trying to teach you. I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language, and to keep it ''alive”! That's something I'm doing too, so I can help you with all my knowledge.

Avendo insegnato a studenti da poco arrivati in Italia (bambini, ragazzi e adulti) e avendo io stessa imparato delle lingue straniere, ho sperimentato che è parlando, leggendo, scrivendo e anche giocando che si apprende più velocemente. So, però, che per parlare correttamente anche la grammatica e la sintassi sono molto importanti e, visto che in italiano sono molto complesse e ci sono moltissime regole, mi piace affrontarle partendo dalla conversazione, da letture e da video. Imparare dev'essere divertente e appassionante... altrimenti dopo un po' si perde la motivazione.
