Insegno italiano agli stranieri da circa due anni e l’ho sempre insegnato in contesti multiculturali a persone provenienti da qualsiasi parte del mondo. La mia passione sono le lingue, ma mi piace parlare anche di storia, geografia, arte, musica e cinema. Since 2 years I have been teaching Italian in cross-cultural contexts, to people coming from all over the world. Languages are my passion. I like also history, geography, art, music and movies as well. If you share the same passions, we can talk about them during our lessons.

I received my degree in languages and literature in 1986. One of my first jobs was worked as a congress hostess and also as a tourist translator. In 1992, I started to teach Italian as a foreign language for all levels, from beginners to advanced. I have taught one to one, groups and also full immersion lessons as requested. In the last few years, I have also taught children and young people using Skype. My certified Italian language teacher diploma is from the University of Siena ( Ditals I ) and from the University of Perugia ( DILS PG II ). I am registered in the professional register of teachers of Italian for foreigners known as APIDIS (Albo Professionale Insegnanti di Italiano )

Patience and understanding are my traits, dialogue for me is fundamental. I always try to meet my students halfway. Irony for is the key to success when it comes to teaching, but of course I never lose track my (and your) goals!

I teach with passion , patience and enthusiasm because I love my job! Students think my teaching is extremely clear and well-structured without getting bored but taking into account the difficulties you might encounter . I have extensive experience with students of all ages and motivations : either learning the language for travelling , working , studying or for the simple pleasure to learn /improve Italian !

Tutto è personalizzato in base alle richieste/esigenze dell'alunno. L'obiettivo è imparare senza rendersene conto. My approach is friendly and involving. I use: google drive docs, texts, pictures, song and newspaper articles. Everything is personalized according to the requests/needs of the student. The goal is to learn without realizing it.

I think the most important part of teaching is human contact. I like to put my students in a comfortable and trusting environment. Also, it is essential that you talk: the more you speak, the more mistakes I can find and the more new expressions and pronunciation tips can be taught. I'm patient and friendly: the primary and most important reason to take this type of class is to find an opportunity to practice. Therefore, you need someone who is understanding, who you won’t feel embarrassed to talk with, especially if you are a beginner.

My studies and the work experiences have allowed me to have a cross-disciplinary approach to knowledge and to increase my teaching skills, being able to create a deep connection between me and my students. In my activities I explore, build and applicate the most innovative strategies and tools, from a global, fresh and dynamic perspective.

I love teaching: since I was a child I've always wanted to become a teacher. I have been teaching italian for more than two years online and in presence both individually and to groups of students. I attended a language teaching course at the Ca' Foscari University. I’m currently helping young people (from 10 to 15 years old) with English and Italian.
