I graduated from Università Statale di Milano in 2013 in "Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures". After university, I obtained a 1st Level Master in "Promoting and Teaching of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners". In 2013 I was an intern at the Italian department of Kennesaw State University, USA. My Master’s final project was published as an article in an specialized Italian LS/L2 magazine. After my Master, I had many teaching experiences, also with Individuals with learning disabilities, both in Italy and in the USA. I worked in Pennsylvania as a Teaching Assistant for the elementary, intermediate and advanced Italian language and culture classes at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.

I'm a PATIENT person, empathic and open-minded; my goal is to make you feel COMFORTABLE - from my point of view learning a new language has to be a PLEASURE not a stress! I'll do my best in order to support you and to let you gain CONFIDENCE lesson by lesson!

Working as a teacher with many different students and learning styles forces me to adapt my materials and subjects to each and every person I have in front of me. Therefore teaching is never boring! I realised that students are mainly interested in conversation and developing the speaking tips that are so important to get through a real situation with native speakers. So, in my (our) lessons the student will be the one speaking, the main character who, with my guidance, will be able to find a way to express him/herself in a new language!

Sono anche io uno studente su italkie dove cerco di migliorare l’inglese per questioni lavorative. Credo che una lingua nasca per essere parlata e quindi il solo modo per migliorare e perfezionarsi sia appunto parlarla. A volte lo stress, l’emozione o gli impegni lavorativi ci impediscono di tirare fuori tutte le nostre potenzialità. Per questo mi piace affrontare la lezione come una conversazione fra amici, rilassati e sereni. Particolare attenzione agli stranieri che vengono a lavorare in Italia.

I believe that every student is unique, each with their own history, objectives, tastes and dreams. As such, I aim to tailor and personalise the lessons I deliver as much as possible, starting off by getting to know the student through a dialogue before commencing on the language-learning journey together.

I teach with passion , patience and enthusiasm because I love my job! Students think my teaching is extremely clear and well-structured without getting bored but taking into account the difficulties you might encounter . I have extensive experience with students of all ages and motivations : either learning the language for travelling , working , studying or for the simple pleasure to learn /improve Italian !

As an autodidactic polyglot, I am pretty familiar with challenges and tricks of learning languages and I help students overcome and master them. I have been teaching in different schools in several countries to students of different ages and levels. I am currently a teacher in a junior-high school in Italy. I have had classes for IELTS & TOEFL preparations, business courses, general English for children and adults and also conversation classes. During my BA degree in Italy, I have obtained extensive training on teaching methods and strategies that next to my long years of practical experience, it makes me a versatile teacher with robust classes that are both friendly and resourceful.

I'm patient and professional, but also very friendly. I enjoy teaching at every level (beginners, intermediate and advanced), and I would like to be able to help you become more fluent in Italian and in Friulian. Usually, I tend to set up a class around the topics you prefer, in order to create the most interesting and relaxing environment possible.

The inspiration for this job came to me while I was a volunteer in Peru, in a small school in the Andes. There, I realized that I enjoyed learning other languages and that I could help others to do so, as I could speak about languages for hours! Since I started working I have never stopped! I looked for and found work in Italy, France and Romania, in different schools and international institution, like the Istituto italiano di cultura og Bucharest.

I published a book for teenagers, adopted in several schools, and four mystery stories for Italian learners. I have a blog in order to teach Italian. Ho una laurea in Mediazione linguistica e italiano come lingua seconda. Ho insegnato italiano a stranieri durante il mio tirocinio all’università e online, per diversi anni.

Sì esatto, una a cui piace giocare! Penso che la dimensione ludica sia il mezzo ideale per imparare senza accorgersi di star studiando e praticando la lingua. Io per prima sono studente di lingue straniere e so perfettamente cosa significhi faticare per crearsi una propria grammatica, ricordarsi vocaboli, fare figuracce davanti ai nativi... Niente paura! During my stay abroad I have always helped friends who were struggling to learn Italian and now it has become my job. Currently I am giving private lessons of Italian, English and Japanese to students from Elementary school to University and I love it right because every time it is a different challenge.

Studio lingue straniere fin da bambina e questo mi permette di essere sempre anche “dall’altra parte”, cioè di capire la persona che ho davanti, come si sente davanti alle difficoltà ma anche alle soddisfazioni che imparare una lingua straniera comporta. Cerco di essere l’insegnante che, da studentessa, vorrei avere: qualcuno che mi aiuti a trovare il mio stile di apprendimento personale o che, se già lo conosco, adatti metodologie e materiali a queste mie caratteristiche personali. La preparazione delle lezioni per me è una fase fondamentale: cerco sempre di trovare argomenti interessanti e stimolanti e modi di usare questi materiali che siano adatti ai bisogni specifici dei miei studenti.

I am very well organised and I am adaptable, I've always enjoyed working with various types of students with different motivations for learning: I centre my work on the needs and abilities of the students, my approach and methods adapt from time to time to the learning style and needs of the student, that's why the trial lesson is so important: to know each other and to plan the whole course. I always try to have fun during my lessons, because if I'm bored, the students are bored too. So I always propose new, interactive and attractive materials, I love using videos, songs, newspaper articles and multimedia applications for language learning.
