I have studied in the Department of Primary Education of the University of Ioannina. Then I got my Masters Degree in Teaching Greek as a Second / Foreign Language from the University of Nicosia and I also received training from UNICEF about teaching Greek to people with multicultural backgrounds. I have also received specialization in Special Education from the Kapodistrian University of Athens and I am a certified life coach from the University of the Aegean.

Speaking is the most important part while you learn a language. So i suggest to speak Greek as much as you can. No matter if you do mistakes! we learn from them! I keep our conversations very natural 'cause i want to make the student feel confortable speaking Greek. We can talk about anything you want! But of course except speaking part we work also on the grammar, reading, pronunciation & writing. Step by step you will become fluent in Greek! Trust me!

I enjoy teaching people from other nationalities, because we'll have the chance to get to know each other, learn about each other's culture and at the end of the day, you get to speak and write Greek. I' m currently a student of NTUA in which I' ve learnt how to tackle every obstacle and challenge that I was assigned to. When I started learning greek to foreign students it was also a challenge but I succeeded by preparing every single lesson according to every student's needs. Today, I work as a part-time teacher, tutoring both children and adults.

I always wanted to be a teacher, i always knew. I love transmitting people knowledge about my country, our history, our language, our literature, our civilazation ancestors. I studied Philosophy and Philology with master on Systematic Philosophy. I specialize on the right speaking, listening and writting of Greek, as in latin, history and literature.

English and French were once foreign languages to me, so as a teacher I am in a position to understand the difficulties my students might be facing and do my best to improve their language skills.

I have been teaching Greek since 2011. I have taught children as well as adults from every background. I have a Bachelor Degree with honors in Philology and specialize in teaching people who aspire to reach fluency within a short period of time.

We can talk about Greek culture, Greek history and about everyday life and social aspects of modern Greece. I do not have much experience in teaching, and this is why I would prefer teaching begginer and intermediate students, at least for the first couple of months, until i am accustomed to it. I am really talkative, thus conversation in the languages i teach would be the best thing I could offer to my students, but i am not really limited to that. I like getting to know my students in order for me being able to adapt to their needs and make classes with them even more productive. Their needs will form and alter the way i teach. Being quite easy-going, i would get along really well with most people.

I mainly tutor through conversation using many different materials and resources to help improve your Greek .I believe learning a new language should be a fun experience. I have an informal relaxed style, making our lessons enjoyable. I have learnt English and am now learning spanish so i understand what its like to learn a new language.

For the past two years, I have been teaching Greek, giving private lessons to both students of Elementary School and adults, in person and online. I love working with people of different ages and diverse backgrounds. I am flexible and creative and strongly believe that learning a new language has to be fun, so I always try to find new ways to keep my students motivated and engaged. Building a strong relationship of trust with them is also a priority to me.

My approach to teaching is student oriented. I would first asses the level and likes/dislikes of the prospective student and come up with relevant material.
