(EN) I've been teaching German in one-on-one lessons for over two years now. Most of my students have been from Spanish-speaking countries. Besides English and German I also speak Catalan and some Esperanto.

I discovered my passion for teaching not by teaching languages but by teaching new concepts. Working as a Scuba Diving Instructor put me in the position of having to teach more complex ideas to students often unfamiliar with them. From there, I became inspired to teach in a more traditional classroom setting. After completing a 120-hour TEFL course, I gained some classroom experience teaching English in a primary school. During this time, I learned a lot about how to engage with students and react to their individual needs.

I worked as a freelance tutor for more than two decades and helped many students to achieve their goals. Currently, I'm giving private lessons in English and Italian. Since 2018 I am teaching Italian (A1-A2) at an adult learning centre (Volkshochschule). Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I switched from classroom to online lessons in March 2020. Since June 2020 I am giving an online lesson every week in German to a lady living in Düsseldorf.
