Als community teacher möchte ich vor allem das Anwenden der Sprache üben. I've been tutoring for over 7 years now ever since I was a high school student myself. First, I was doing private tutoring in English, German, French, Maths and Sciences. Then, after finishing my BA in English and American Studies and Business Studies in 2017 and completing my CELTA, I moved to Brighton (England) for one year to work as an English teacher at a language school. Now I'm back in Germany to finish my Masters in Linguistics and learn as much as I can about languages and culture.

In 2001 I began to teach German as a Foreign Language at the German Cultural Center which is the official representative of the Goethe Institute in the City of Monterrey- Mexico. In 2012 I taught German at the University Regiomontana. It was very satisfactory to prepare students to obtain the Scholarships offered by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) to study and to do their Internship in German companies

I was often used to help refine the pronunciation and sentence building of my schoolmates, when I was younger. Thus, I can easily speak slower, with an accent that is easier to understand or use words which are more basic. I have learned a lot on iTalki, until now. I believe my teaching has improved and my system works. I have had complete beginners, thus I feel comfortable with taking the first steps with you. Nonetheless, I am also guiding more advanced students. I myself do occasionally make mistakes, whilst on this path of becoming a good tutor, if something surpasses my knowledge, I will make sure to find it after our lesson and fill you in.

Ich bin freundliche und sehr geduldige Lehrerin. Es ist wichtig für mich, dass meine Schüler den Lernprozess genießen, sich im Unterricht wohl fühlen und so viel wie möglich sprechen.
