I just started teaching so I don´t have that much experience. Lets grow together get a better student while making me a better teacher step by step.

I was certified as a TEFL teacher in England. Since then, I have taught at all levels and all ability groups and ran numerous workshops. I had the chance to live in different countries and I discovered, getting to know a culture is a way into learning a new language. I also cooperate with Leibniz University Hannover as a tutor.

I’m teaching for 3 years at different schools and I’m a tutor for more than 6 years in a lot of subjects. Languages are my big passion and I bet on online lessons. I have been a volunteer German tutor since 2017 and have worked with individuals aged 13 and above ranging from beginner to advanced language level. I am also happy to help with exam preparation, and provide guidance on specific tasks and proofread your work (texts, essays etc.) or help with improving your writing style, vocabulary and grammar.

As I choose to offer conversational German, we would talk about a chosen subject and I would correct your accent, grammar and tell you what vocabulary would be most common, so our common goal would be to get you to a level where you feel "at home" in the German language. If you need explanation in English I am absolutely happy to provide it. If you need to prepare for a business meeting or for your studies we can also work specifically on your needs.

Any student of any age or background is welcome! It is important for me to not only help them learn, but also to know them better and make learning as easy and comfortable as possible. My students will always have a priority on what exactly they want to learn, because that's what's gonna interest and motivate them the most. As a teacher, I believe it's very important for me to be friendly, caring, and encouraging with my students. Perhaps it will also help me learn a new language even! Jeder ist willkommen! Ich unterrichte Deutsch als Fremdsprache bereits seit 7 Jahren, sowohl live als auch online. Nach der Schule habe ich Deutsch und Pädagogik studiert und in der Erwachsenenbildung gearbeitet. I've been tutoring for over 7 years now ever since I was a high school student myself. First, I was doing private tutoring in English, German, French, Maths and Sciences. Then, after finishing my BA in English and American Studies and Business Studies in 2017 and completing my CELTA, I moved to Brighton (England) for one year to work as an English teacher at a language school. Now I'm back in Germany to finish my Masters in Linguistics and learn as much as I can about languages and culture.

I've been giving Math, Geography and English lessons during high school. So I am familiar with different types of students and teaching styles. I learned German myself just by using italki and have met several teachers, both professional and community tutors, and not just with native speakers, but also with non-natives. So I combine all the methods I've seen and put my own ones on the top in my lessons. I believe that the teacher is the person who motivates you and provides you with materials. I am a very intuitive person and also very communicative. For me the essence of really mastering a language is showing in conversation and communication. That's why I focus on strengthening the confidence and comfort speaking the language the most. Of course I get into grammar, vocabulary and expression, but I take a playful approach with exercises and talking about your interests and areas you want to improve in. You can expect homework assignments and also individualized worksheets, if you wish. I'm very adaptable and bring fun into the learning process!
