I have taught English and in-house software in an international law firm but I am now looking for a new opportunity to teach French, my native language, as part of an old dream of mine!

I am calm, patient and I can adjust to your level. I give sessions in French and Arabic at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. I am flexible and can adapt our sessions to what you want to do. I started to occasionally work as a teacher of Romanian and of English while studying for a master’s degree in Romania. However, my career in education took off in France upon my second graduation there. Even though I worked for six years in several high-schools, I don’t recognize myself today in the image of a typical high-school teacher. For efficiency’s sake, I strive to be a good facilitator. My role is neither to point out every mistake you make (unless you want me to) nor to become your next source of nightmares (even if you want me to) but to help you find the easiest and most productive way for you to learn a foreign language.

I am patient and relax. I like to create a comfortable atmosphere for the student. I am not too formal and like it when we have a real exchange with the students.

I have been tutoring French for more than 4 years in secondary schools in Cameroon. I helped many native speakers of English and during the last couples of years. I have taught French to children, teenagers and adults. I am currently working as a High School Teacher in Accra - Ghana where I live now. I like to experiment with new techniques and I always try to improve myself. I am looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students who wish to be comfortable with the language.

I can teach you both French and English, the lessons will be done through Skype or other applications. I will listen to what you want to learn or improve on and then we can make a plan to guide you and help you achieve your goals. I like reading empowering books (though lately I am using more audio books) & I will gladly give you some recommendations.

L'anglais que j'ai appris à l'école n'était pas suffisant. C'est ainsi que j'ai connu et étudié sur Italki. Durant cet apprentissage, j'ai dû moi-même essayer plusieurs techniques et j'ai bénéficié de nombreux conseils pour m'améliorer et m'exercer. Je souhaite désormais mettre à profit ces expériences et mon parcours d'apprentissage en tant que tuteur communautaire au service de la communauté Italki.

My teaching philosophy is that: "people learn best when they are having fun". I think that most people learn the best when they are laughing and smiling. That's why I love to have high energy and make sure that you're having fun and definitely not falling asleep! Ma philosophie d'enseignement est que "le monde apprennent le meilleur quand ils ont du fun*" Je pense que la majorité des personnes apprennent le meilleur quand ils rient et sourient. C'est ça pourquoi j'aime avoir beaucoup d'énergie et faire sûre que vous n'allez pas vous endormir en classe!

I have six years of teaching experience as a tutor. During this time I've met amazing people with diverse backgrounds - programmers, entrepreneurs, university students, artists and many, many more. The vast majority of my students are also expats living mainly in French speaking countries and this is something I consider to be my greatest asset - having lived in France as an expat gave me the opportunity to be able to empathize with a student and understand what are his or her needs in terms of learning a language. Although, the pleasure of actually speaking it is my biggest mission. We enjoy the process, we have fun, we try to make the language serve us - not otherwise :).

As each one is unique, I’m working on the contents of each lesson according to your level, needs and expectations. I also have diplomas that makes me more confident about my way of teaching and how to guide you throughout learning. As a result, I can help you preparing diplomas such as the DELF, DALF.

I'm a very patient person and will tailor the lesson to every person's need. At the same time, I'm well organized, I like that my class has a structure. I'm also a flexible and open-minded person. I’m aware of the difficulties of speaking in French, English and Spanish, because I have had to overcome them myself. That is why in my course I'd like to focus on conversation. I know that it can be a challenge to speak to a native speaker, that’s why I’m going to adapt to each student's pace. My students are from all over the world and I love the connection and friendship that we make.

My goal is to help people reach their goals as they learn a new language. I have been a language learner, and I know the challenges that you can meet as you strive to learn a new language. My experiences as a language learner and a language teacher can benefit you in a meaningful way.
