I am a firm believer in making learning - especially language learning - fun and am convinced that with this, dedication and immersion you can get pretty much anywhere in a language! But also: don't be afraid to mess up! Everybody makes mistakes when getting into a new language (I've been there), and sometimes it will seem like you'll never stop making the same mistakes, but I am happy to help and go over things multiple times.

I have many teaching techniques that students have been very pleased with when they work with me. When we meet, I will ask you what you would like to work on specifically. I have a Masters Degree from Spring Arbor University in Spiritual Formation and Leadership. My goal as a teacher is for you to feel comfortable speaking English and Filipino. I specialise in accent reduction and pronunciation, and I always adjust my speaking speed to my student's level *For no shows* : If you would not show up or if you're late, I would give you a grace period/make up class or I would extend the time (for you) since you have 2-3 days to confirm the lesson on iTalki- no need to reschedule the lesson. If you would not attend the make up class then I would have to either report that the student did not attend or I would have to charge you

I love teaching and helping my students expand their knowledge! I am happy to teach people from ALL over the world! Most of my students are of an intermediate - advanced level, but this is not a requirement. I have previous experience working as a teaching assistant at a school in the UK. I have a various teaching qualifications and certificates as well as having taught over 1300 Hours here on italki.
