I have since helped friends improve their language skills here in Buenos Aires by showing them that language isn't all about grammar and rules, yes thats important, but I found that talking, and using real world examples are key. Once I figured this out I was excited to start sharing this with others.

As a tutor in languages I really try to think through and evaluate on what my goals and priorities are in the classroom. I believe the most relevant aspects that I want to bring to my students are calming and judgmental-free atmosphere where student can feel comfortable to talk and let the chatter flow guilelessly, and also to motivate and help them through the obstacles in the language terminology and speech.

I have been teaching English for 5 years, starting by tutoring my classmates and helping them pass their International Cambridge Exams. I recently acquired a Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate, which gave me the tools and skills to help my students learn English in an efficient way. Even though I speak English fluently, I sat for three Cambridge exams, passing them all with A. Having first-hand experience on these exams has given me the abilities and skills necessary to help other people prepare themselves for them.
