I am a very passionate teacher who loves teaching and gets a great sense of achievement from seeing his students develop and grow as individuals.

I am a professional English, French and Spanish teacher. I have my TESOL certification. I have taught for 14 years to children, teenagers and adults giving either private or group lessons.

I have my BA from Bellarmine University and hold an Advanced Certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Learning a new language is one of the most incredible ways to learn about people, explore new ways of thinking and challenge yourself to be better. As a teacher, I believe that it's my responsibility to help my students find their motivation and make their English language learning journey fun, engaging and attainable. I have worked in education for the last six years and have taught English to non-native speakers in Ukraine and online. I have experience teaching advanced speakers and complete beginners. As a teacher, I work to make myself approachable, open and adaptable.

What distinguishes me from other teachers is my passion as well as my strategy. I like to prepare conversation topics, songs, news articles, philosophical questions that have the relevant vocabulary and grammar structures to improve your language skills. Several of my students have started as beginners with me and went on to suceed in moving to Germany. My personal opinion is that anyone can learn a language: it is not a talent, but a skill. Just like math or riding a skateboard, it is a skill that you can develop. I am here to help you hone in on your skills and succeed in your interview, language exam or reading a book in English or German.

I know that is something I need to get over myself in my desire to learn to speak Japanese. I don't like getting it wrong. However, getting it wrong won't matter if I don't at least try. Let's work together and overcome our concerns of not being perfect and grow in our confidence to communicate in the English language. I would love to assist you with that endeavor.

My goal is always to tailor my class to the individual student's need. I think it's important to identify what your goals are and create a plan for how we can reach them!

I customize my lesson for every individual student taking into account their preferences and learning needs. I also incorporate grammar, idioms, videos, homework, etc if the student needs that to succeed. I can offer both casual or customized lessons.

I have taught English for more than 6 years in England, France, Australia and Mexico to adults. I really love helping people to achieve their language learning goals and explaining things clearly so they can feel confident to use English to travel, work, make new friends or go to university. I have had many students from Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Turkey, South Korea, Japan, Colombia, Switzerland and many more countries.

I am a native Korean speaker who has been teaching Korean since January 2012. I'm patient, love to teach Korean with lots of experiences. I will always do my best to help you! :)

As a teacher I enjoy helping students/adults really learn more English! Whether it is breaking down the grammatical rules and basics of the language, or just having a fun conversation around a topic that the student enjoys. I believe practicing all aspects, especially conversation really helps with the learning process.

I know that learning the English language may be difficult for some people but, do not worry. I will help you learn and practice the basics of speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

I have loads of experience of helping people learn English as I have volunteered for multiple organisations which support refugees and asylum seekers, I run a group helping people learn English through games, and I do lots of conversation exchanges as I speak French and Spanish and these also involve helping people with their English. I would describe my teaching style as very interactive. I prefer to create a teaching environment that encourages critical thinking and elicits responses from my students rather than having them merely retain and repeat information. I make use of different websites and encourage my students to read to improve both vocabulary and fluency.

I can help you learn basics of German, English or Croatian language; teach you commonly used expressions, conversational phrases, or just help you with your school lessons or homework. You can also select a topic you are interested in, and I can prepare it for our next language session so you can practice speaking, learn grammar rules, or whatever you think you want to improve.

I started taking English classes when I was 7 years old. From that point on, I have continuously studied it. I began teaching classes informally when I was 15, continuing to this day. I have been teaching both adults and children, and have seen a drastic improvement in their confidence to speak the language.

I am a firm believer in making learning - especially language learning - fun and am convinced that with this, dedication and immersion you can get pretty much anywhere in a language! But also: don't be afraid to mess up! Everybody makes mistakes when getting into a new language (I've been there), and sometimes it will seem like you'll never stop making the same mistakes, but I am happy to help and go over things multiple times.
