I am an enthusiastic, friendly, English language teacher with a CELTA certificate. I am extremely passionate about teaching. I will always be taking detailed notes throughout our conversations. Near the end of class, I will spend time reviewing feedback on grammar, sentence structure and pronunciation. My English teaching career started in 2015, when I taught conversational English at a language club in St. Petersburg, Russia. Afterwards, I taught English online to students from Russia, China, France, Chile, and more! Then I had a great adventure teaching multiple levels of English grammar and conversation at an American school in Vladimir, Russia. I became Head Teacher there. My favorite part about teaching English is hearing what my students have done after finishing my classes. I’ve had students go on to get jobs in the US, start high-level university English programs, and just make new friends by using English! I have both a TEFL 100-hour and TESOL 120-hour certification.

I started my career as a private tutor and then taught English to teenagers at a private language school while working on my master’s. I then realized that I’d love to teach Russian as a foreign language too so I signed up for a special course at my alma mater. Then I taught English and Russian at a university and I also have experience of teaching corporate clients. At the moment I’m working at a language training centre and as a private teacher.
