Hello, my name is Kimberly. I was born in Colombia, but then I moved to Francfort (Germany) and when I was fifteen to Spain (A Coruña). Currently and for about a year I have lived in Verona (Italy), the place where I had done my Erasmus. I have a degree from the University of A Coruña in English Philology although, because of how the course is organized, I also studied French, Galician, Spanish and Italian. I love travelling, doing sports (dancing, skiing, trekking, running), cooking (because I love to eat delicious food), drawing and reading (I am also a "little bit" cinephile).

Fortunately, in these last four years, I had the opportunity to give private lessons to children and teenagers of different ages and of different levels several times. I taught English, Spanish and German. I am often described as a very patient and organized person. What I like the most about teaching is to see the processes that the student goes through day after day, and above all how he/she gains confidence day by day. Since I had studied Philology I also have many bibliographic references, both in literary books and also in grammar. Another thing I like a lot is the reciprocal process of teaching and learning.

My classes are very interactive because I give a lot of importance on orality. I do vocabulary exercises (many times referring to songs), reading and grammar exercises, but focusing everything at the end on an oral reproduction. I consider it very important that most of the exercises have this purpose because, from my own experience, the "fastest" way to learn a language is by speaking it.
