I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher. I believe that anyone can learn a new language if they are willing to dedicate some effort outside of class time. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I teach students at all levels and age. I have found that student-directed teaching is the most effective approach, and I tailor one-to-one instruction based on the student’s needs and interests. For the student who wants to be able to speak everyday Portuguese, I teach conversation, encouraging use of everyday speech, ‘real life’ contexts and pronunciation, over grammatical ‘correctness.’ We study texts and audios about Brazilian daily life and topics that are of interest to the student, and practice conversing. For students who need to develop their reading and writing skills in Portuguese, I work with them on texts emphasizing grammar, structure and more formal vocabulary.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

Lesson was great, I can see my speaking is improving. Leo really makes a great effort to understand me, even if I use the wrong word more often than not he can piece it together and show me what I need to do differently. He is always happy to answer my questions about Brazilian culture as well. I am learning a lot with him!

Wonderful, Leo was very knowledgable and flexible and I enjoyed our conversation a lot. He was willing to stay past our time which I really appreciated.

Great first lesson! Leo was well prepared and was obviously very experienced. He had plenty of questions prepared for us so we could keep the conversation moving. He assessed my level of speaking and adjusted the conversation appropriately.
