I have a Master’s degree in foreign languages taken at the University of Catania. I have been teaching for about 8 years now. I started working at one of the local hospitals in town where I taught English and Spanish to medicine students and doctors. In 2015 I set up a school of languages which I run and where I still teach English and Italian today (along with other fellow teachers). I’m a qualified TEFL teacher, qualification that I got by joining a 120-hour TEFL course, held at school, given by an expert TEFL teacher, and I have got a Certificate of Proficiency in English (level C2). I tend to focus my lessons on three main aspects: grammar, pronunciation and practice. It much depends on my students’ level, but I would typically start a course with phonetics as I believe it is essential not only to get yourself understood, but also to understand others. I try to make grammar the least boring possible making a massive use of drill exercises that will enable students to use the language without too much thinking.
Because I don’t want to make my students feel uneasy I try to be easygoing when I teach them and avoid putting too much pressure on them.
I specialise in Cambridge certificates and I have a good knowledge of business English.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

I had a very good first lesson with Ruggero. He was patient and helpful with my beginner Italian, and he clearly made an effort to understand what I was looking for in a teacher, whole keeping the conversation going.
