I am a beginner, and I am very impressed with my first class with Julie. She is very articulate in Vietnamese, and if possible, she can comprehend Vietnamese words in English pronunciation. Despite going past the limit, Julie did all she could to provide the most inclusive lesson of the alphabet.

Nhu Mai is a great conversationalist. She's very friendly, attentive and helpful. We talked a lot about the recent COVID19 situations that are happening all over the world which made this class very interesting and fun too. Even though this was her first or second lesson on italki, I already got the sense that she knows how to teach Vietnamese. I asked her to write down any words or phrases that I had trouble speaking and found a long list that she left for me after the lesson was over. Looking forward to reviewing all of this. I'll definitely be booking more lessons with her in the future.
