Another thoroughly enjoyable lesson with Marian. I really appreciate her inventiveness in explaining new words using only Welsh (and not just saying the English). Marian is easy to understand and is able to talk about lots of things using Welsh at a level I'm able to cope with. After my first lesson with her a couple of weeks ago I really noticed a difference in the way I was able to understand the spoken language (for example on the radio), so I'm looking forward to even more progress after today's conversation. Speaking is a huge struggle for me but It is such a big help to have someone as encouraging and patient as Marian - I can feel the brain cells clicking away! Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Marian was great! She respected my request to speak just Welsh as I need the immersion to get my speaking confidence up. We had a really good chat and I'm now feeling much more confident. There were some technical problems so we had to move to another platform from the italki classroom, which was a pity.

It was such fun to talk Welsh for an hour, and the hour flew by! Now and again Marian suggested a better way for me to say something in Welsh, which was very helpful, and she also pointed out something I keep on pronouncing incorrectly. Very good to know that! Generally, though, she just lets us chat away in Welsh, which is exactly what I want. Marian makes speaking Welsh seem easy and she is very encouraging.

Another great session. Marian makes it seem easy to talk in Welsh, without reverting to English. She gives just the right amount of constructive feedback - not too much (as that would be discouraging!!), but enough to point out a few things that would help me improve.
