Teaching Polish since 2016, English part-time since 2013. Two times (Nov. 2017 - Feb. 2018, Feb. - March 2020) spent couple of months in Kenya as a teacher in a primary school.
I was also working as a translator on documentary film festival: responsible for preparing Polish subtitles to foreign movies and correcting them.

It is really hard to tell about lessons pace because everything is individual. Although I have created my personal syllabus (mostly for the beginners), the number of things we discuss on a particular lesson may vary. I am always prepared for the lesson and I like to be organized, however I can't demand the same from a student. So certainly you will never feel stressed with me :) If you want we can talk all the time, but I can also send you videos, articles, homework, grammar exercises: as you wish!

Emilia had me talking in polish more than I have in my life, even if my vocabulary is still so limited. She was supportive even when correcting mistakes and elicited from me a lot of phrases. We talked about a lot of subjects and I felt very good chemistry, as we seem to have many things in common and similar way of thinking. My confidence in my language skills sky-rocketed and this is a very good sign. Dziękuję bardzo i do zobaczenia! ;)

I really enjoyed the lesson. I learned interesting words like ściema and kadzidło. Some of the topics were really challenging which is exactly what I want. I'm really looking forward to the next lesson.
