I’m a Certified ELE teacher by the Valle University & La Rioja University with over 12 years of experience, a DELE examiner B1-B2 by the Cervantes Institute. Currently I teach online & at a university in Colombia. Spanish from Latin America & Spain. All levels. Daily life, Lawyers, Medical Personnel, Business, DELE & SIELE, Pronunciation, Conversation, Culture. I was born in Colombia but I have lived many years in Europe, United States and South America. I’m also a citizen of Spain. My best experiences abroad involved meeting great people, finding interesting places and seeing the cultural mix in the world. My profession encompasses my favorite things: I’m a journalist and a Spanish teacher.

Elena is a wonderful teacher! She has really helped me fix a lot of errors I had cemented over years of not having anyone help correct me. She is very kind when giving feedback and encourages questions and doubts you may have. She takes notes on your strengths and areas for improvements and tailors lessons to what you want to learn. She is a university professor in Spanish and you get to have a 1-on-1 lesson. What a steal! Highly recommend her as a teacher!!!

Elena is great, she has by far been the best spanish teacher I've had. If you are looking to become fluent in your speech and not just study grammar, Elena is the best. Over the last few sessions we have gone over exam style questions and content for the Dele A2 exam I will be taking.

Great class with Elena. She is an excellent teacher. My lessons involve the crucial areas of language learning - speaking, listening, writing, reading and vocabulary. Elena shares insights on cultures of different parts of the Spanish speaking world. She's also super encouraging and super sweet. I feel like I'm learning a lot and also speaking more, thanks to her.
