I believe the best way to learn a language is to love it. Yes, I learned English and Turkish this way.
I started teaching Arabic by volunteering at Small Project Istanbul (SPI), an NGO which helps displaced Syrians in Istanbul. Many volunteers at SPI were interested in learning Arabic and I was a perfect match for them. They encouraged me to become a teacher
as they believed in my teaching methods. That was the reason I began teaching on Italki in February, 2017.
I am an easy going, flexible teacher. I enjoy being a community teacher because I prefer conversation to grammar which is why I am also working at Conversations Unbound: an NGO that connects students from America with Arabic. 5.0
