I am a native Japanese and English speakers. I was born in Japan and raised in the United States from my childhood. I have also lived for 13 years in Poland. Right now I live in beautiful Barcelona Spain. I have a MD, and a PhD degree in Medicine if you are interested in practicing Medical English as well.

I am patient and flexible. I have taught students from children to adults and from complete beginners to advanced students. As a teacher, I find it important to listen to the student and find out what their needs and wishes are and plan the lesson accordingly. I will listen to your suggestions and customize and adapt my lessons to meet your individual needs.

Tomu-sensei is a great teacher. I'm a bit of an atypical student since I already learned quite a lot of vocabulary and kanji via some self-studying apps. He was able to adapt very quickly to my situation (knowing lots of words/kanji, lacking grammar/conversation skills), and his lessons are never boring. In just one week I feel I am already improving exponentially. I cannot recommend this enough, it's perfect.
