I am a professional language teacher with a master's degree in Education with the use of new technologies. I have experience in teaching people from all over the world, irrespective of their level, beginner, intermediate or advanced.

When I was in high school I discovered my passion for helping my classmates with homework and then I decided to bring this to another level and offered tutoring in the following: Biology, Geography, English, French and German. Later when I finished my degree in foreign language correspondence (mainly translation and correspondence in German, English and French) I started traveling a lot and I got to know people from other countries. I have regularly given one on one classes in many different parts of the world where I have traveled to and lived in. It has always given me great pleasure seeing people improve their language skills.

Ich habe einen Master in Sprachtechnologie und Fremdsprachendidaktik mit Schwerpunkt Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Seit 2015 unterrichte ich Deutsch für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene bis Niveau B2. Ich habe auch Erfahrung mit der Vorbereitung auf den "Deutschtest für Zuwanderer".

Since I work in HR I specialise in teaching German to people who want to use German for career purposes. I archieve the best results with people who already speak at the B1 or B2 level. To master as language there is a very simple but crucial part: The ability to express yourself in the foreign language. Conversation practice is therefore an elemental part of my courses.

Although I am not a trained teacher, I can nevertheless help you learn German as a native-speaking tutor. Since I studied German studies for a few semesters and in my other study programmes I have also attended courses with didactic and pedagogical contents, this knowledge will definitely be of use to you. Everyone is invited to take part in my classes to improve their existing German language skills in a relaxed atmosphere together with me. Language lessons should be fun to motivate the language learner. * I am not accepting kids as my students * So, please feel free to try out my teaching in a trial lesson, and and when it suits, we can talk about many interesting topics.

I teach German with easy and fun steps. I do not teach grammar with complicated conjugation tables, but with a lot of funny examples. That way, the class does not get boring and the student keeps his interest. I enforce his learning by letting him read good German books, watch famous German videos etc.

I have lots of fun discussing and explaining German words, phrases and sentence structure. I have been supporting language learners on Italki since January 2019. In the past I have lived in many countries. Whenever I am back home in Germany I go back to driving an abulance. My students appreaciate my slow and clear speech. I am very patient - I dont mind repeating myself over and over again :) Repetition is essential. I encourage students to make mistakes as they catalyse the learning process.

In my experience the biggest problem with learning a language is that the students think they need to get it perfectly right every time they say something. This stops you from talking freely, and makes you fal short of your full potential. In my lessons, I will encourage you to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I offer different kinds of lessons, some follow a course structure, others are only focused on conversation. Of course it's also possible to mix a structural approach with free speaking.

I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. My oldest student was 80 and I think he is a good example that it is never too late to start learning a new language or enhancing your language skills and taking your language learning to the next level. I'm a very patient and empathetic teacher who thinks mistakes are an important part of the learning process and whose goal it is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for you.

I am a "language-learner" myself and therefore know, how it feels to get acquainted with a new language. I have been a language-student in school, university and while working full-time. So I do know how different life circumstances can change the way you're learning. I will adapt the classes to your personal needs and interests. I want to make learning interesting for you and therefore will incorporate different topics and ways of learning. A crucial part of learning a language to me is practice. This is why I like to assign homework (if that suits your personal circumstances, of course).

Meine Arbeit im Kinderarbenteuerhof und im Waldkindergarten in Freiburg hat mir besonders Spaß gemacht und dort habe ich Erfahrungen beim Begleiten von Kindern und Jugendlichen in Lernprozessen sammeln können. In meiner Tätigkeit als Tagesmutter habe ich die Lernbegleitung von 7 heranwachsenden Jugendlichen durch tägliche Hausaufgabenbetreuung übernommen. Derzeit unterrichte ich Deutsch,Mathematik und Musik für Freilehrner-Kinder in Costa Rica.

Most important is to connect with my students,because only when we connect we can learn. My role is being a coach and an instructor,supporting the student on his journey into the new language.

Teaching and giving people an understanding of things are passions of me for many years already, be it as instructor, tourguide or in the form of cooking recipes. That's why I also want to help others with learning languages.
