I have been tutoring French for more than 4 years in secondary schools in Cameroon. I helped many native speakers of English and during the last couples of years. I have taught French to children, teenagers and adults. I am currently working as a High School Teacher in Accra - Ghana where I live now. I like to experiment with new techniques and I always try to improve myself. I am looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students who wish to be comfortable with the language.

J'ai également enseigné sur la base du volontariat pendant plus années, et j'ai toujours été fascinée par l'évolution de mes élèves. I started to occasionally work as a teacher of Romanian and of English while studying for a master’s degree in Romania. However, my career in education took off in France upon my second graduation there. Even though I worked for six years in several high-schools, I don’t recognize myself today in the image of a typical high-school teacher. For efficiency’s sake, I strive to be a good facilitator. My role is neither to point out every mistake you make (unless you want me to) nor to become your next source of nightmares (even if you want me to) but to help you find the easiest and most productive way for you to learn a foreign language.

J'ai également étudié communication en Bachelor et économie au collège ce qui me permet d'enseigner également le français utilisé dans le monde économique ou des affaires. - English - I speak slowly and articulate very well, without accent, and I am extremely patient, which is an undeniable asset to learn a language. I do not have much experience in teaching, and this is why I would prefer teaching begginer and intermediate students, at least for the first couple of months, until i am accustomed to it. I am really talkative, thus conversation in the languages i teach would be the best thing I could offer to my students, but i am not really limited to that. I like getting to know my students in order for me being able to adapt to their needs and make classes with them even more productive. Their needs will form and alter the way i teach. Being quite easy-going, i would get along really well with most people.

J'adapte tous les cours selon vos besoins et vos objectifs. J'ai enseigné à tous les niveaux (A1 à C2) et j'ai l'habitude de travailler en ligne donc pas de panique, même si vous avez un niveau débutant, vous pourrez apprendre le français de chez vous !

Je suis actuellement en contexte d'apprentissage d'une langue particulièrement difficile (le portugais) et je sais à quel point cela peut être frustrant. Pour cela je mets à disponibilité mes compétences de correction phonétique, grâce à une méthode peu connue mais très efficace que vous découvrirez avec moi, pour faciliter votre production orale en français. L'oral est primordial et reste une des compétences les plus difficiles à maîtriser. Grâce aux nouvelles technologies et aux nouvelles méthodes d'enseignement, il est désormais possible de pratiquer cette compétence au quotidien.

I have tutored for two years at the College of Charleston in German, French and Portuguese, as well as taught the beginning conversation courses for Portuguese students. During these positions, I worked a lot with textbooks and lesson plans, but I normally will adapt the students wants and needs to make sure they feel at ease and comfortable in order to learn the best they possibly can. As stated, my current work is with professionals, but I have experience with various profiles and am trained to work with students of various cultural backgrounds, learning styles, and ages. In addition, I can proficiently explain grammar in Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Dutch apart from my C2 languages.
