I'm a very patient teacher, and I understand that the process of learning can be different from person to person. I use my training to study and adapt the best methodologies and approaches to fit my students' needs . As a teacher, I enter each classroom with a rich experience allowing me to identify both a student's strengths and weaknesses. I am flexible and approachable, and I make a concerted effort to help ease any tensions a student may be feeling towards learning a new language or attempting to pass a test. I am British and speak the English language with a very neutral accent which makes me easy to understand. I am also very familiar with the IELTS test, having successfully coached many students from around the world to reach their goal.

I have graduated from Petrozavodsk State University with two majors English and Teaching Techniques. As well as this, I have a certificate to teach Russian as foreign language. I have school based experience from Russian and Danish schools. For 8 years I have been working as a private tutor teaching kids and adults, creating special programs for them which would meet their goals and interests, help them improve their language level and prepare for language exams and interviews.

As a teacher, I like to think of myself as patient and flexible. I have taught in many very different settings. The type of students in these settings varied greatly. I am graduated from UAEM, which is the most important University in the state where I live, and even before I finished my bachelor’s degree, I started to teach English in two primary schools. After that, I’ve taught kids, preteens, young adults and adults. I've given General English from very beginner students up to upper intermediate students. On the other hand, I also have experience helping graduated students to write their academic texts in English and Spanish. In addition, I have given reading comprehension courses to students in order to pass their reading exams in their universities (in English and Spanish) Currently I continue working as a teacher.

I studied Accounting and Finance in the UK and worked in the Finance Sector for 4 years there before moving into Business Consulting. I also write and record my own music and perform at private and public events. My work with various charities has given me the platform to engage in a lot of public speaking. 9th January 2020, I will not be teaching after the end of February 2020. I got a diploma in TESOL in 2007 and I taught at language centers and provide one to one tuition to Korean students for many years. I have been teaching on italki since Sep 27, 2013. So far, I have done more than 2500 lessons. I just love meeting new people and helping them gain more confidence in speaking English. I love speaking about a wide range of topics.

I started teaching English as part of my gap year travels by teaching students in government secondary schools in Tanzania. Later on, I successfully completed a TEFL course and I taught English on my integrated year abroad (as part of my university degree) in Austria. I started teaching again in Cologne in July 2018.
