I know it might be "not so much attractive" to hear that someone is from Serbia or another Balkan country but the best thing about this is that I can teach you serbian, croatian, bosnian, montenegrian:-). I would say these languages are all the same with small regional differences and it is a kind of political issue that we all call it differently. I know that many people prefer native speakers, but it can sometimes be tricky. The native speakers are good teachers only if they are foreign langauge teachers, believe me. I have many years of teaching experience in various language centers, foreign language schools and cultural institutions, where I worked with different age groups, including pre-school children, elementary and high school students and adults, which has contributed to my ability to adapt my teaching skills to students. I have been teaching both adults and children, and have seen a drastic improvement in their confidence to speak the language.

In my classes, I exclusively use materials in Macedonian, Serbian, and Croatian, as well as own personal materials. About 7 years ago I became an English teacher, which gave me skills to teach Croatian language as well. I have become very proficient in teaching through Skype, which is my favorite way to teach. My students are all types of people and age groups. Teaching is my passion in life and I especially enjoy learning about other cultures while I do it. In our lessons we can use different tools for any request, including GRAMMAR books, for BOTH languages. By creating fun and relaxed lessons, we can cover any aspect of the language you wish to focus on.

I don't believe there is only one proper way of teaching and learning so my teaching is adaptive and imaginative. I encourage critical thinking in my classroom and create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable to open up and practice their language skills. I believe that learning a language should be a fun and enjoyable adventure and an opportunity to learn not only different languages but also different cultures and traditions.
