I highly recommend Teacher Asami as a potential Japanese Language instructor. Today was my first, official lesson with her. Immediately, I could already tell she was confident in her teaching approach, and knew exactly how to conduct the flow of the lesson to match the skillsets that I lacked. Her experience shows, and she knows exactly which questions to ask. One of her greatest points I’ve noted so far is how seriously she takes her work. This is shown through her adaptability skill, where she does what she can to match the resources that the student already holds at hand. As I myself already had a curriculum I had been using, Teacher Asami immediately went to gather resources for said curriculum on her own time. There are few instructors that are willing to do as such, and my respect for her had grown exponentially after the fact. While Teacher Asami is a newer instructor on the iTalki website, I highly, highly encourage potential students to take a chance with her. Born with a slight stutter and being a student as awfully shy as myself, I am picky with who I work with. I can already tell I won’t regret my choice. 아사미 선생님을 매우 추천합니다. 저는 수줍은 학생이고, 너무 강한 교사를 찾는 것에 대해 걱정했습니다. 그러나 아사미 씨는 저의 부적절한 점을 이해했을뿐만 아니라 저를 위해 여러 번 문구를 반복해서 기꺼이 반복합니다. 저의 수줍음으로 쉽게 좌절하는 선생님을 많이 만났으므로 아사미 선생님과 그 같은 분노를 느끼지 않아서 매우 만족합니다. 이 선생님과 함께 공부를 하고 싶으면 영어를 조금 알아야하지만, 제스쳐 잘 이용하셔서 영어를 잘 못 해도 괜찮을 것 같습니다. 교사 실력, 수업 가격 비해서 좋은 투자입니다. 수업을 한번 시도를 해보세요! 후회하지는 않습니다~ 아사미 선생님이 너무 좋습니다 ^^.

Asami san provides great lessons. She does a good job of keeping me smiling during the lesson which helps with relieving my anxiety. We also push just beyond my limits so I always have plenty to study after each session. Asami san, thank you for providing quality lessons!

Lively and fun, she kept a Japanese conversation alive for the entire time--which is pretty impressive considering how little Japanese I speak. I'll be getting in touch again. Thanks Asami!

This was my first lesson with Asami, and my first time learning with TPRS. I quite enjoyed it, and learned a lot. she was very patient with me... VERY patient with me. and I finally learned how to say my own occupation in japanese. So... huzzah! Over all, I give this class a 5/5, and I will be continuing.
