今週も、身の回りのことや相撲のこと、特定の単語の使い方や発音のなど、たくさん練習できました。いつもありがとうございます。I practiced speaking a lot about things around me, sumo, usages of some words and also pronunciations as usual. Thank you so much Stewart!!

私の苦手なものの一つに句動詞があります。教科書や辞書の説明ではわからない感覚を教えてもらっています。日本語と照らし合わせることも楽しいです。One of things I’m bad at is phrasal verbs, which is not explained enough on textbooks or a dictionary. It’s very helpful to hear from him and it’s also fun to compare with Japanese. Thank you as always !!

日常の動作を表す言葉は、意外と知らないことが多いです。レッスン中にメモしたことを忘れないように使わないといけないとき思ってます。それから日本語の「図々しい」と「厚かましい」の違いを頑張って英語で説明しました。I realized I haven’t known many verbs that I use in daily. I should try to use those expressions that I wrote down on my notebook not to forget them. And I also tried to explain the difference between “zuzushii” and “atsukamashii” In English. Super fun and effective lesson !
