She is REALLY strict & thorough on fixing grammatical/syntactical/stylistic mistakes in speaking. Which is actually really, really helpful for me because I wanna be a native speaker. Most of the time when a person learns a new language, they just have so many errors & mistakes that go unnoticed because their teacher can't possibly pay attention to every tiny, little mistake. There's just too MANY to take notice of. And the student can't possibly self-assess their own speaking, notice the things they say wrong, & fix their own mistakes. Otherwise, they would just be a native speaker & wouldn't need teaching in the 1st place. But her, she actually will mentally review every sentence you say & consider whether it's what a normal native speaker would say or if it sounds unnatural/odd/strange/cumbersome/awkward. Then she fixes it for you & gives you an alternative sentence that sounds way better.
