In the fact I love speaking. It depends on my company in which language :) I help my brother, my cousins and my friends with English. Here in Brazil I started to teach Slovak and English for Brazilians. I help the foreigners with Portuguese.

Tenho 14 anos de carreira, já dei aula para todas as idades. Por muitos anos trabalhei em escolas, inclusive fui coordenadora pedagógica de uma, e desde 2015 trabalho com aulas particulares. Há dois anos tenho oferecido principalmente aulas online. I have been in this business for 14 years now and I have taught people of all ages. For many years I worked in schools, in fact, I have been a pedagogical coordinator in one of them, and since 2015 I have been a private teacher. For two years nows I have been offering mostly online classes.

- My main qualities as a tutor is to be patient, use gestures and expressions, speak calmly for better phonetic understanding. - I care about the needs of my students and I will always tailor the lessons according to those needs. - In classes I'll try to identify the student's most difficulties to work towards their improvement.

I know the difficulty of learning a new language because I myself have learned Spanish and Catalan as I did my Art Studies in Barcelona. Years later, as I moved to Germany I studied German – one of the biggest challenges in my life. Through this experience I understood how both challenging and marvelous learning a language can be. As a techer I may say that being a language student too has made me feel like putting myself in students' shoes too. So in short I know how it feels like not knowing a thing about it. I study hebrew and italki has been making my life easier. I love CLIL and in case never heard of it ...just google that and the rest is gonna be history! Waiting for ye all

I believe that having access to other cultures enriches us as a human being I also believe that learning a new language is a great way to keep our mind healthy because it exercises our brain. Sou professora de português língua estrangeira/ língua segunda desde 2007. O meu percurso profissional começou em Goa, na Índia, onde lecionei durante 4 anos. Depois, voltei a Portugal onde tirei o mestrado em Ensino de Português Língua Estrangeira. Daqui fui para a China, Trinidad e Tobago e Goa, onde ensinei em universidades. Atualmente, sou professora em duas universidades em Portugal.

Sempre fui motivada por ótimos professores que tive durante minha vida. Cursei inglês durante minha vida inteira. Tenho certificados de português e inglês e de cursos de especialização para o ensino de inglês. I’ve always been motivated to emulate great teachers that I’ve had during my life. I have studied Portuguese and English throughout my whole life and have certificates from courses specialising in the teaching of both languages.

As a teacher and a student who learned English as a second language, I know that the journey can be rough sometimes and very methodical, with that said, I like to learn a little about my student's interests and style to adapt and turn the learning process as easy and familiar as possible. I truly believe that we can have lots of fun while studying and learning a different language. I tend to use as an asset my student's interest and likes as a guide to teach them what they as willing to learn.

Over a period of 7 years, I have lived in Guatemala, Honduras and Brazil and interacted daily with the people in their native tongues of either Spanish or Portuguese. I am super patient and flexible and I like to teach students of all levels. My classes will focus on helping you to pronounce Portuguese words naturally. We'll use conversation, text reading and music as tools to improve your fluency, as well as help you with grammar, university text correction or job interviewing that requires the use of formal Portuguese.

I am qualified for teaching Brazilian Portuguese. I started as a teacher in 2011. Over the years of my life I've taught Brazilian Portuguese to kids, teenagers and adults and it's something that I'm passionate for.
