As a teacher, in the last 25 years of experience, I've come across many different students. I currently teach English in an English school here in Italy, that's the reason my availability was limitated in the last year. Each one of them has their own characteristics and learning capacities. I try to elaborate custom methods together with the student, in order to reach the best learning procedure to use, from schematizations to memory methods, linguistic assonance and much more. As intermediate you can talk about all the aspects of the everyday life, or express deeper concepts, and I can help you to choose the right words and the correct sentence structures, that ones that italians use in a normal conversation. If you have particular needs or interest, we can deepen some topic or a specific technical language. I can also teach you the most common idioms in the spoken Italian, and we can even have a look to our body language, that we use very often.

I came to teach quite by chance. I bumped into a job advert and send through my cv. Unexpectedly, they gave me an interview, which went well so I flew to UK to teach Italian. That was incredible. Since then, I have been specialising in teaching. I have a university degree in science communication, specialises in journalism and I am at the second year of a second degree in languages and foreigh cultures, specialises in English and Spanish.I have got the CEDILS certification which is a certification of competence in teaching Italian as a foreign language or second language. I have also got C1/2 level proficiency certificates in English, Spanish and Japanese (CAE, DELE C2, JLPT2).

My lessons are usually in Italian for a full immersion in the language, but if you find it too much difficult or too much tiring, I can easily switch to English. If you speak other languages or if you're interested in linguistics, let me know! I will be happy to make connections and insights among all of them.
