I have been an ESL teacher for almost 9 years. I have taught all levels, ages and most nationalities. I have taught at 7 schools. I first taught in Shanghai, China, but I prefer teaching international classes in my city, Toronto, because it is more interesting, dynamic and fun. I started my experience by working in summer school where I taught international teenagers, then went on to teach in a Spanish nursery school. As a teacher I like my classes to be a safe, fun and comfortable space for the learner, no matter the age. I know how scary it can be to learn a language so I will be here to make the transition as comfortable for the student as possible. There are no stupid questions in my classroom, questions is how you grow so i encourage my students to ask as much as they want. I am patient, open-minded and efficient and if requested I can tailor a lesson plan for a students specific needs.

As a little girl I learned English through cartoons, and at the age of 7 I already started learning English at school. My further education, Law school, travels and meeting people from different countries have helped me to understand various accents.
