I am a TEFL Certified English Teacher with experience teaching both online and in person. Since I can remember teaching has been a passion of mine regardless of the subject. I am a very easy going guy and make a great effort to ensure my students have fun, feel relaxed and feel comfortable. I view myself as more of a coach because I encourage students to take control of their learning experience by learning about how languages are acquired and then deciding together on a strategy that best fits their needs & interests. I talk as normal as I can with each student so they can better pick up natural patterns of speech and sayings. I adjust my speed and complexity as needed.

As a teacher I try to understand personal needs of every single student. I like to use interactive materials and bring fun to the lesson. Very important to me is also to dissolve the initial fear of speaking of students and I encourage them to speak from the very beginning. I have teaching experience with kids, teenagers and adults. I do not have any teaching materials (workbooks or exercise books). Any readings we do in class, the student should find for themselves. I have learned languages in many different ways, although my preference is surrounding myself with the language, meaning, listening to the music, watching movies, reading in the target language, and speaking to the natives. I have learned languages with the traditional method, meaning, going to classes, learning vocabulary and grammar, although this process takes a lot of time and is not always applicable in real life situations. I believe that everyone knows people that have been learning languages for years and cannot use the language to communicate with others. I believe that this is wasted time and that this system of learning is not the best.

I have already had the experience of being a teacher for over a year, teaching people from the age of 6 to the age of 70. This makes me very flexible and able to adjust to your wishes and hope in learning English. I try to make my classes entertaining, interesting and fun, so each of them would be memorable. New words and expressions I try to explain using fun examples, as well as all of my classes are based on differentiated topics, concentrated on speaking, listening and writing skills depending on student's wishes and purposes of studying English. All of the material is taught in English only, and I edit the amount of homework based on the amount of time student has.
