As a teacher, my main focus will be teaching day-to-day English. I can also teach slang and explain the different phrases used by different English speakers. What may be polite in one country may be considered rude in another! I studied creative writing at university so I have a good grasp of the English language and a wide vocabulary. I also have a TEFL certificate (150 hours). Over the last few years I have casually tutored young adults (18-30) in English and I have also tutored teenagers in mathematics.

As a teacher my primary goal is to make you confident and comfortable speaking in another language. I've taught myself Spanish and I know that's not easy.
